Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026 · Cycle Platform ("Cycle", "we").

Cycle is a business application for fashion brands, Shopify merchants and their teams. This policy describes what data the app processes and why.

Shopify app

When you install Cycle from the Shopify App Store, Cycle reads your store's products, inventory and orders through Shopify's official API to build your analytics and answer your questions. Specifically:

• Products & inventory — titles, variants, prices, images, stock and collections, to build your catalogue view.
• Order data — at the general level only: line items (product, quantity, price, discounts and refunds), order dates and sales channel, used to compute sales velocity, sell-through, margin and restock signals.

Cycle does not request or store your customers' personal information — no names, emails, addresses or phone numbers. Cycle is read-only and never modifies your store.

AI Copilot. To answer your questions, aggregated, non-personal facts about your catalogue and sales are sent to our AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) through Cycle's secure gateway. They are never used to train models.

Storage & deletion. Your Shopify access token is encrypted at rest and all traffic uses HTTPS. Store data is retained only while the app is installed and is deleted when you uninstall or on request. Cycle honours Shopify's privacy compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact): on an erasure request the corresponding data is purged.

Data we collect

• Account data — name and work email address, used to authenticate you against your organisation's Cycle workspace.
• Product catalog data — the products, suppliers and passport data of your organisation, fetched from your workspace to display and analyse. It belongs to your organisation at all times.
• Voice input — if you use the assistant by voice, audio is transcribed on-device by Apple's speech services. Transcribed text (never raw audio) may be processed by our AI providers to answer your question.
• Assistant messages — questions you type or dictate are processed by AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) through Cycle's secure gateway to generate answers. They are not used to train models.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites.
• No sale of personal data.
• No collection of precise location, contacts, photos or health data.

Storage & security

Session credentials are stored in the device Keychain. Product images are cached on-device. All traffic uses HTTPS. Operational logs (route, status, latency) are retained for 30 days for reliability purposes.

Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes. Material changes are communicated to workspace administrators.
